Allison Daroie

Owner of Paridaez

hey guess what?? Starting a business is HARD! We talk a lot about the success here on BossTown but Allison Daroie really breaks it down on the low moments and the resilience you need to keep going. She went to law school, and interned at the federal court house and realized-PUMP THE BREAKS, I am not getting any satisfaction from this. She went to go work for a fashion company for a short time, and then started her own line. However, she explains she comes from a Persian background and that the pressure was on her to become a doctor, lawyer, or engineer. So when she left her job as a federal clerk to take on retail, some family members were straight up shocked. Now all that's in the rearview as she has won several boston's best awards. The inspiration for her line is because one day she had a meeting to go to that she couldn't bring a bunch of bags to, a yoga class she wanted to take, and then meeting her friends out at a restaurant. She had to bail on some of these experiences bc she didn't have time to go home and change, and she thought what if i created a line where the clothes could transition to any type of event---and here we are!
